The U.S. Embassy in Bridgetown serves as the diplomatic mission for the United States to Barbados and six other sovereign nations in the Eastern Caribbean: Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The embassy also provides consular services to U.S. citizens in the British Overseas Territory of Anguilla. The embassy is the primary visa processing post for the entire region it covers. It handles a high volume of nonimmigrant visas for tourism, seasonal work (H-2B), and education, as well as all immigrant visas.
Services Consulaires
The American Citizen Services (ACS) unit provides services to U.S. citizens across the seven sovereign nations and the British Overseas Territory of Anguilla, including passport renewals, reports of birth abroad, notarial services, and emergency assistance.
