Bilateral trade and export promotion activities are currently non-existent. The formal economic relationship between Afghanistan and Austria is on hold, and there are no institutional mechanisms to support trade under the current circumstances.

There are no viable investment opportunities in Afghanistan at this time. The economic situation is dire, and the international community has frozen assets and suspended development aid. The embassy does not provide information on investment.
Soutien aux Entreprises
The embassy is not in a position to offer any support for businesses. The security and political risks, combined with international sanctions, make any business activity in Afghanistan extremely challenging.
Programmes Culturels et Éducatifs
All cultural and educational programs have been suspended indefinitely. The focus is on the humanitarian crisis and the uncertain political future of the country.
